In the Know

Half of this town sits in my chair sooner or later, and I hear everything before the ink's even dry on it. I write it catty, never mean. This is a gossip column, not a hit piece, and if you don't like being in it, maybe don't hand me the material.

Hoodoo Fall Festival Season Is Here

The Hoodoo Holiday Royals Pageant is right around the corner, and you already know I'll have thoughts on the crown. Meanwhile the costume contest already crowned its own winner: Lauren and Hunter's Dalmatian, Domino, in a referee vest. Nobody's contesting that ruling.

New This Year: The Pageant Gets a Queen

The Princess Pageant's getting company this year. It's official now: the Hoodoo Holiday Royals Pageant, with a new Queen category alongside Princess, open to the grown women of Dallin who never got their turn at a crown. Applications open now, details in the November issue. I already have thoughts on who's entering. I'm not saying who. Yet.

Heard Around Town

Keeping this one vague on purpose. Ask me in person if you're that curious. Some things don't go to print, at least not yet.
